Hollywood, Fl AAR 1/2 Day Rifle Jan 23, 2024

This was part two of our great event in Hollywood fl. Part one was a Libertyseed. (See its pictures here https://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?topic=66978.msg416351;topicseen#msg416351)

Part two was a 1/2 day intro to rifle event. This event was attended by 21 shooters with many parents watching and helping.
We started off with a little talk about grouping up and how to move around a rifle range safely. All instructor commands must be listened to without question. Once we all agreed that was a good idea we got into how a 10/22 worked and safety.
Everybody was very attentive on the safety rules and so we jumped right into how to use the rifle. Several blocks of instruction and several dry fire exercises.
Once we moved to live fire the shooters were all hitting targets like a pro.

Great work by all. We hope to see you again on the firing line soon.

Fantastic group of shooters!  I was blown away with how attentive they were to what we were teaching.  This is a wonderful group of kids and adults.  I look forward to seeing them all again!

I only wish I could have been exposed to Appleseed when I was their age! The half Libertyseed and half into to Appleseed marksmanship worked amazingly well. Despite efforts to escape, the Time Monkey was kept caged, mostly due to a well organized plan and an expert team to make it happen.

This was a fantastic, rewarding, high energy  event with exceptionally attentive students as a whole. An honor to work with this  group of students and parents. Mario did an ace job of line boss for the relays! The experience of instructors was obvious.
We all left very tired but feeling blessed to be a part of pointing the awesome , tired but smiling students up liberty's path.
