This was a great shoot! One day event for Air Force JROTC Smyrna HS # DE942.
Could not have asked for better weather. Had a great group of students as well. Easy to speak "about getting off the couch" when the group is JROTC and JROTC leadership.
DragonLady (Cissi) did an awesome job with admin support, she is an awesome asset to the Team Maryland Applecore for sure. Look forward to working another shoot with her in the future.
The AM Redcoats versus the PM redcoats really tell the story. In the AM we had 4 out of 11 shooters qualified at any distance. The PM Redcoat we had 9 shooters (2 had to leave early) and EVERY shooter was qualified at some distance. Two even cleaned the target! Huzzah to Rory and John!
John was able to put it all together for a qualifying Rifleman score of 216 (2nd Appleseed)! Huzzah!
Many thanks to the awesome instructors that made this event successful! It was great to see Patent Guy (Andy) on the line again. USMC (Tim) did a great job as Line Boss!
Looking forward to seeing several of these shooters on a Project Appleseed line again soon.

What a nice day indeed! The AF JROTC did so well thanks to such wonderful instructors. I am definitely looking forward to participating in another event!
