Another great event at DSRPC. The overcast day was a welcome change after the heat broke just weeks before. We were joined by ten shooters young and old.
Many thanks to Gasguy, Derschneller, and Desert Chipmunk for volunteering.

We finished Saturday off with a impromptu rimfire Kd qualification. Instructor Derschneller showed his expertise and earned the first rimfire KD rocker in the state. Others were only a few points off qualifying. Given more than a single chance, I have no doubt they would have all made it. Next time!

There were personal bests accomplished throughout the weekend. Congrats to Steve , Dann, and Brett for re-qualifying and showing how riflemen do.
Nevada also welcomes it's newest riflemen Richard L. who shot his expert score on the last AQT of the weekend. Huzzah!

Our weekend ended with the setting sun backlighting steel silhouettes on the long distance rifle range. Solid hits were made by everyone with America's finest battle rifle. It's funny how everyone smiles after shooting a Garand.
