Title: WMSA movie night-Sybil Ludington
Post by: SebalLudington on September 28, 2010, 09:31:29 PM
Hope this is ok to post this, WMSA's movie night is Sybil Ludington, the story of the female Paul Revere (except she rode twice as far as Paul and was only 16 years old). Her horse's name was Star. Together they warned of the burning of Danbury CT. This movie is made by a Christian film company, so it is very family friendly. It truly is a movie for our time, when our lives and liberty were threatened by tyranny. It is being shown 29th September, at the Glenwood Arts in Overland Park, Ks.
Time: 7:30 PM
Location: Glenwood Arts Theater-9575 Metcalf in Overland Park
Tickets: $8.00
Come and spend an evening with Patriots, past and present!
You can see a little clip of it here  http://www.wmsa.net/events.htm#movie (http://www.wmsa.net/events.htm#movie)
You don't have to be a WMSA member.

I've never seen the movie (I want to!) but Sybil Ludington's story is quite fascinating!  She might be a good patriot to talk about at ladyseeds......just an idea.
