This is one of the most squared - away groups I've ever been around. I don't know if I can say that about the Shoot Boss, though.

A solid north wind of 15-20 mph on Saturday made standing position a challenge, though temperature was mild. A fun, positive time had by all.

We had some shooters, to be sure. We made two Riflemen on Saturday. Congratulations to Gene and Brad who shot 232 & 227, respectively. Our other three shooters were knocking hard on the door to Rifleman. Many thanks to Tom, Al, & Anthony for their guidance on Saturday.

The wind made for some teachable moments. Otherwise very nice shooting weather and a good group.

It was a great weekend in Tulsa. We had a small but pretty solid group of shooters, two of which made Rifleman on Saturday, congratulations Brad and Gene. And thank you Brad for stepping up and taking the Orange Hat!! Brad did a great job calling the line on Sunday. The rest of the shooters were definitely knocking on the door. We had a couple good guys that stayed late on Sunday shooting AQTs. Hope to see them again, they were both really close to qualifying. The weather was pretty decent although we had the winds gusting from the north on Saturday, then Sunday the wind came straight from the south. The zero value winds still tended to knock the shooters off target from time to time. TomCat tore up some AQT's this weekend with his AR, now if we can just get him to make his rifle safe every time after a string of fire  ;D &) :P I brought an old Lee Enfield No. 4 MK 1 out and found that shooting the AQT with a clunky surplus bolt-action is pretty tough. Again, it was an awesome November weekend. Thanks Tom, Al, and Michael for the help, and thank you again Brad for stepping up.
