Title: Byers, CO August 15-16, 2015
Post by: Massasauga on August 18, 2015, 10:18:29 PM
The Byers shoot was quite hot. It was 98 degrees in Denver which probably meant 100+ degrees at the range. Somehow the topic about the Winterseed Patch was brought up and then the patch suggestions for this shoot became Solarseed, Desertseed, and a few others :)

We had a great group of shooters show up this weekend and despite the heat (and ducking under the shade as often as possible) there was a lot of improvement in group size and smiling faces.

Thanks to the shooters for having a great attitude and demonstrating rifleman persistence under the hot sun!

Thanks also to the instructors for coming out and working hard this weekend!

Sunblock, sweatband, and a goofball selfie!!
Day one was at least 100 degrees like Massasagua mentioned and in the way home I stopped at the first gas station and bought a giant slurpee and a bucket of ice!!
I LOVED the weekend! Fabulous students and instructors all!!!
