What a great way to kick off the 2024 Appleseed Season:  An IBC at the Home Range, with attendees from three different states!  The predicted deluge was kind enough to hold off while nine members of the Project Appleseed Instructor team gather to learn and refresh their instructor skills in preparation for 2024's upcoming events.  Great attitudes, great learning mindsets - couldn't ask for a better group!

A few of the highlights:

Proud Patriot coaching OldDominionIron through an diagnosis drill

One of NC's newest team members, Devbo, presenting the sitting positions on one end of the line...

While Yates (Pennsylvania SC) and Proud Patriot work on the same exercise at the other end of the line. Ed note: arguably one of the most tricked out laser rifles I've ever seen...

Ramseur 1-24!

Aaaaaaand Ramseur 1-24! plus a wayward Shoot Boss!

As always, many humble thanks to the NC "Ramseur Regulars" who made sure that the event venue was ready to receive folks the day before, and ready to kick off without a hitch!
"5 minutes for this stage - that's like a week in people years!"

"Responsibility is a unique concept... You may share it with others, but your portion is not diminished. You may delegate it, but it is still with you... If responsibility is rightfully yours, no evasion, or ignorance or passing the blame can shift the burden to someone else. Unless you can point your finger at the man who is responsible when something goes wrong, then you have never had anyone really responsible."
― Hyman G. Rickover

"Scoring is a function of great execution, and winning Is the result, but thinking about winning can pull your focus off of proper execution in a competition. Thinking about process is the answer."- Lanny Bassham

Thanks to everyone for their wonderful hospitality at the Home Range!  Met a few new folks and reconnected with others.  And special thanks to our "wayward" Shoot Boss for his leadership and guidance - great time.

(And that "tricked out" laser rifle is just so I can see the tiny green dot when demoing.)
