We have another new club in the Hudson River Valley that has agreed to host an Appleseed event this year.

The Kinderhook Sportsmen's Club will host their first Appleseed on August 28-29, 2012.  This is a very busy club with multiple outdoor ranges and they hold many events each year.  Their rifle range has a covered firing line and is 100 yards maximum.  The ranges at this club are laid out so that each range can be used simultaneously with the others without the risk of cross-fires.  In addition, there was preliminary discussion with members about the club providing BBQ-style lunches to event attendees at a reasonable cost, the proceeds of which will help to support their continued work to promote and increase participation in outdoor sporting events of all disciplines.

This Appleseed is coming up this wekend.  There are still plenty of spots avaiulable for preregistration.  As a rare treat, VietVet will be Shoot Boss for the event; and Josey Wales will be instructing as well.

We have confirmation from the club that they will be cooking hot dogs and burgers for lunch which will be available to all for a modest fee.  Please consider purchasing your lunch to help support the club.
