As always it was a good weekend down at the Cawthon Cartridge Club near College Station, TX. We had 6 shooters show up to help us celebrate our heritage. All of the shooters showed great improvement throughout the weekend. The shooters were not afraid to ask questions during and point of instruction.

Didactic, bollox, Tank5 and myself instructed.

Saturday was quite warm - one of the warmest days so far this year. With a high ratio of instructors to students instruction went pretty quick. Shooters were able to participate in one timed AQT on Saturday.

Sunday was much cooler as a dry front blew through.

Andrew made Rifleman on the first AQT of Sunday - 2nd AQT of the weekend.

Andrew's friend Chris made Rifleman on Sunday during one of the last AQTs.

Robert K was knocking on the Rifleman door with a 205 on one of the last AQTs.

Congratulations to Andrew and Chris for scoring their first rifleman scores!

My youngest daughter just got married and moved to College Station. I hauled some furniture out there for her the first week of April and drove out to the range to see where it is.  Next time you have an event, I might try to arrange a trip to visit and help out with the shoot.
