When I tried to register for the April 17th-18th Cloverdale event, the following page comes up.

QuoteWe're upgrading our service!

Eventbrite is dedicated to offering you the best service possible. With this in mind, we are currently launching new features.

The site will be back up shortly, so please check back soon.

Is there an alternative way to sign up?

Is there any space left for that event?

Looking forward to learning how to shoot a rifle properly.

I have not known Eventbright to stay down, upgrades are normal. I would try again later this evening. I believe Cloverdale is only half filled so far.

You can if you like use the mail in form here,
http://appleseedinfo.org/mail_appleseed.html

but I would wait to see if it comes back online tonight, I'm sure there is room since you are registering early. While you are waiting you should look around if you have not already and see what you need to be prepared. this link would be a great place to start.

I have removed my email from my profile to stop the mod reports. If you need a Libertyseed scheduled you will now have to contact me on the Libertyseed forum.

Thanks for the reply.  It's back up and running now.

Got my wife and I signed up.  Also have a friend who is interested.

I assume it would be preferable for her to have her own rifle.

And I assume you want people to have iron sights.

I could convert my 10/22 back to the factory stock and barrel easy enough.

Keith,

Thanks for registering early and for getting other folks interested.
Sights are either iron or optics, no issues with either.
Best if the rifles have a 1.25 inch USGI sling.
Everyone should have their own rifle.

Criticism is the only known antidote to error.  David Brin

What a nation has done, a nation can aspire to.
Dr. Jerry Pournelle

Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty.

This is known as "bad luck."
