A mighty fine Appleseed was had at Memphis Sport Shooting Assoc! Made to order weather combined with a great group of shooters made for a great atmosphere from the beginning. We had a few familiar faces chasing their Distinguished and a good number of first timers who came to see what Appleseed was all about. The shooters were attentive to instruction and history and a great deal of improvement was seen over the course of the weekend. We had several repeat Riflemen and also several new ones. Others were very close and will no doubt patch at their next event.

Big thanks to MSSA for hosting us and all the Instructors who make it happen!

As usual, RustyGun ran a terrific Appleseed event! He, along with an outstanding cadre of instructors, provided a safe and fun marksmanship environment. The historical anecdotes they presented gave all of us a valuable perspective and context for which to strive to improve our marksmanship skills because our freedom and liberty depends on it! They did a superb job and they should be very proud. Moreover, it was a pleasure watching them patiently interact with the youngsters in order to teach them the proper techniques that will allow them to perfect their marksmanship skills. Again, the Appleseed Project should be proud and pleased with this extraordinary group of instructors!

This was a fun event. RustyGun is a great shoot boss and always so positive and encouraging. It's an honor to work with this group of instructors.
The strikes were well told and as always meaningful.
Congrats to Mike and Badger on earning their distinguished. Congrats to those who earned their Rifleman patch. It was great to see Kinley's persistency in earning her patch. Great group of shooters.
