What a great event.

Thanks so much to the instructors for letting me come out, and thanks even more to the shooters for coming out, learning marksmanship and hearing the stories of the founding of our nation.

Twas a weekend of epic instruction and instructors, where laughter echoed like cannon fire, and the sweet symphony of freedom rang out with every M1 clip ping, honoring the hallowed memory of April 19, 1775.

Getting a sneak peek at the M1s the night prior and during the event was like witnessing a car fanatic's version of a Christmas Eve. Dom, with his freshly minted M1 that he crafted just a month ago at CMP, transformed into a walking encyclopedia, dazzling us with his newfound expertise.

Big kudos to Chuck, Amy, Yates, and TickMagnet for racking up those milestone numbers while volunteering at events! You've officially earned the title of "Weekend Warriors" for having nothing better to do – and making it awesome!

Getting our freeze-dried goodies fix out of the back of a trunk, like it's contraband, but don't worry, it's just our snack stash! (This stuff is amazing!)

What an exciting weekend it was! Surrounded by an incredible bunch of students and instructors who powered through the scorching, parched conditions with unwavering enthusiasm. The relentless dry heat and swirling sand might've felt more like a desert expedition than a range outing in Michigan, but that didn't deter our spirits one bit. (Though a few shooters caught a nap in the shade.)

Richard, you're an absolute legend for clinching that rifleman status, and Misty, you're right on his heels – let's get you both into the cadre, it'll be fantastic!

Steven K, your resilience is inspiring – you're on the brink of something incredible, keep that momentum going strong!

Wesley, a huge shoutout for tackling that red coat challenge like a boss on Sunday afternoon and clearing the red coat, you didn't even need the help of your uncle!

Massive gratitude to Niall, Matt, and Xavier for stepping up and coming together it was great to have you on the line.

Seth, Jennifer, Steven M, Esther, and James – your progress over the weekend was nothing short of remarkable, keep honing those skills with dedication and practice.

Benjamin, major props for bringing your boys along, dry fire practice – it's the key to mastery! See you next time! 😊

Can't wait to reunite with you all at another event soon! Let's keep this energy and camaraderie alive!

@motorcycle_dan,

Be sure to sign up in TIPS so you get credit for working the shoot.
I did not see you signed up yet.
