WE SURVIVED!
5 awesome students endured the heat, sand and sun in Houghton Lake both days. George couldn't make it back for the second day. I can't help but think we would have seen a couple of Rifleman forged if the temperature was 10 degrees cooler. Being in the sun and sand will take the steam out of a shooter, nevertheless they persevered.
BTW, I forgot to give the results from "Parker's revenge", NEITHER team cleared all 4 targets. I guess Col. Smith rode away unscathed.
Keep dryfiring, practice your positions and I will soon be passing out those rifleman patches.
