Title: Beaver Falls, PA AAR July 6, 2019

The first-ever Saturday-only Appleseed in western PA is in the books, and the consensus is that it was a success.  Thanks to Beaver Valley Rifle and Pistol Club for hosting us for the eleventh straight year.  BVRPC has seniority among the Appleseed host venues in Pennsylvania, as all of the venues that hosted us prior to BVRPC have sadly faded into the mists of history.

Thanks to all of the instructors who participated we were able to achieve a high instructor/student ratio that enabled us to kick the Time Monkey's tail while still achieving a positive learning experience for students of all experience levels.

High score for the day on the one AQT we shot before the thunderstorms moved in and rained us out goes to Scott with a 206.  Thanks to Nate for the making a long trip to share marksmanship and history with us.  Kudos to Starry for perseverance in the face of equipment issues and a pace of instruction that must have been bewildering to a beginner.  Finally, thanks to Jules for stepping up as an Applecore volunteer.  We need all the help we can get!

Another great day with a wonderful crew and some very motivated students.  It was a pleasure working with all of you.
