A very brisk day in TN did not deter 19 instructors from coming out to shoot AQT's. After some history and safety review 5 AQT's were shot. Afterwards the shooters got to try their skill at shooting steel targets out to 500 yards.
Congratulations to Ramblin Wreck and Johnny Reb both for shooting 247, Overmountain Man shot 243, Gator shot 242, TNBeast shot 241, RustyGun shot 238, Leadslinger66 and Brad both with 226, Army Vet 222 and Tellico shot a 212.
It was a great day with great people doing great work. :)
There's something special about bringing everybody together outside of the usual class dates to commune & have some fun.
I had a lot of fun, learned a lot, and took lots of pictures. I am so pleased that Maddie took a blue hat.
A really good event at McMinnville! Thanks to everyone who had a part in making it happen. The ranging exercise was very educational and useful. Perfect weather for it too. A very strong instructor cadre in that area for sure. I was impressed with the turn out and shooting. A lot of good shooting. Good to see everyone. I would have liked to have hung out afterwards, but had to make tracks back to Memphis. Hope to be up there for the next one.
Good seeing you too. Maybe the next one should be closer to your end of the state if you can find a place that will accommodate us.

One last reminder that the Volunteer State IBC is on the schedule for Feb 15-16 at Stone's River. Hope to see everyone there.

Thanks so much to all that took the time to set this up. I learn something at every Appleseed, and this was no exception. Great to see familiar faces and meet new cadre. Happy New Year to all and see you on the trail.
