This is a traditional 25m Project Appleseed rifle event.
Both Centerfire and 22 Rimfire rifles are allowed at this event.

Firearms must be cased and left in vehicle until after the Safety Briefing. Do Not bring your firearms out until instructed to bring them to the firing line. No loaded firearms on the range unless on the firing line and load command has been given. Eye and ear protection required. No illegal firearms are allowed. Some ranges are .22 rimfire only. At ranges that allow centerfire no rifle cartridges over 8mm cal or handgun cartridges over .45 cal are allowed.

Subject to state and local laws, Instructors at your event may have discounted .22 ammo available. Reach out to the contact at the bottom of this page for availability.
Range Fee: $10 per person per day. Youth under 16, club members, disabled, Military, and Law Enforcement exempt.
Camping Available:
Primitive camping is allowed at the range. Plus there are two campgrounds outside of Hot Springs.
Hotels:
Hot Springs is a tourist town. There are plenty of hotels and restaurants available. The range is about 20 minutes outside of Hot Springs.

Make sure you use the Map or the written directions below. Do not try and use GPS as it might get you lost.
Directions From:
Little Rock - Take I-30 West to the Hot Springs Exit (#111) onto Hwy. 70 West. Follow Hwy. 70 W. to the intersection of Hwy. 128. Turn right onto Hwy 128 and proceed 7 miles to Millcreek Rd. Turn left on Mill Creek Rd. and follow approximately 3 miles, turn left at the gravel pit (just past Deerpark Rd.). Proceed app. 1.9 miles to MVSA signs on the left.
Arkadelphia - Follow Hwy. 7 North into Hot Springs to the junction of Hwy. 7 and Hwy. 70. Turn right and proceed East on Hwy. 70 to the Magic Springs/Millcreek Rd. Exit. Exit and cross over the highway. Turn right in front of Magic Springs and take the immediate left onto Millcreek Rd. Follow approximately 6.2 miles and turn right at the gravel pit (prior to Deerpark Rd.). Proceed 1.9 miles to MVSA signs on the left.
Pine Bluff - Follow Hwy. 270 west from White Hall into Hot Springs. Turn right onto Hwy. 70 east and follow to the Magic Springs/Millcreek Rd. Exit. Exit and cross over the highway. Turn right in front of Magic Springs and take the immediate left onto Millcreek Rd. Follow approximately 6.2 miles and turn right at the gravel pit (prior to Deerpark Rd.). Proceed app. 1.9 miles to MVSA signs on the left.
Fort Smith - Follow Hwy 71 south from Fort Smith to Hwy. 270 east in Y City. Turn left onto Hwy 270 east and follow through Hot Springs. Once in Hot Springs, take Hwy. 70 east to the Magic Springs/Millcreek Rd. Exit. Exit and cross over the highway. Turn right in front of Magic Springs and take the immediate left onto Millcreek Rd. Follow approximately 6.2 miles and turn right at the gravel pit (prior to Deerpark Rd.). Proceed app. 1.9 miles to MVSA signs on the left.
Russellville - Follow Hwy 7 south to Hwy 5. Turn left on Hwy. 5 and go north to Hwy. 128. Turn right onto Hwy 128 and proceed app. 1.5 miles to Mill Creek Rd. (Mill Creek Baptist Church on your right). Turn right onto Mill Creek Rd. and follow app. 3 miles to the gravel pit on your left, just past Deerpark Rd.. Turn left and proceed app. 1.9 miles to the MVSA signs on your left.

It is the responsibility of attendees to know and comply with all State and Federal Firearms Laws.
Misc:
No full auto or 50 BMG allowed at range.
The Action Shooting Range has 10 bays of various sizes. There is a full cowboy town for S.A.A.S matches. There are two skeet and trap fields. The rifle range has 100, 200, and 300 yard berms and has overhead cover.
