Sponsor

• This contest is a sweepstakes sponsored by RWVA, a North Carolina 501(c)(3). (“Sponsor”)
• The Sponsor is solely responsible for Prize Drawings and prize fulfillment.
• Prizes are provided within 10 days of announcing a winner; federal law requires winners to pay taxes on prizes.

Eligibility

• The sweepstakes is open to persons aged 18 and older who are a lawful resident of the United States or its territories.
• The following individuals are NOT ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS PRIZE DRAWING:
  (i) employees, officers, directors and agents of the RWVA., its subsidiaries and affiliated companies and their immediate families and those living in their households;
  (ii) employees (including but not limited to volunteers), officers, directors and agents of Project Appleseed, its subsidiaries and affiliated companies and their immediate families and those living in their household;
  (iii) employees, officers, officials and agents of any government or any governmental body or any entity that is owned or controlled by a government;
  (iv) any employee or officer of a public international organization;
  (v) foreign nationals without lawful residency in the United States or its territories;
  (vi) persons under the age of 18.

Term

• The entry date(s) for the Monthly Prize Drawings will be as follows:
• 12:01 AM on the 1st of each month to 11:59 PM Eastern Standard Time last day of the month which falls on a weekend.

How to Enter

• No purchase is necessary to enter or win.
• You may enter the sweepstakes without buying a product or service.
• Purchasing a product or service does not increase your chances of winning.
• You may enter by:
  (1) attending any Project Appleseed Rifle or Pistol Clinic, or;
  (2) sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Project Appleseed Giveaway Entry, P.O. Box 756  Ramseur, NC  27316-0756

Winners

• Winners will be randomly selected by Sponsor from an appropriate vessel containing all the eligible Entries using a method that is deemed by the Sponsor as fair and just for all participants and in compliance with NC law.
• All decisions on all matters pertaining to Sweepstakes are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor and are final.
• The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
• Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Prizes

• The specifics of the prizes shall be solely determined by Host. No cash or other prize substitution shall be permitted except at Host’s discretion. Prizes are non-transferable.
• Prizes are awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. Any and all prize-related expenses, including without limitation any and all applicable taxes, shall be the sole responsibility of the Prize Winner.
• Winners shall be notified by email and first class mail, using the email address and physical address used to register for an event OR as found in entrant's self-addressed stamped envelope.
• The Sponsor will not be liable for unsuccessful efforts to notify a Prize Winner. If the Prize Winner declines the prize, fails to claim the prize, fails to abide by these Official Sweepstakes Rules, or is ineligible, the prize will be considered forfeited and the Host may select an alternate winner from all remaining eligible entries or otherwise dispose of prize, at its sole discretion.

Limitation of Liability

• By participating, all participants and Prize Winner(s) hereby release the Sponsor and respective affiliates from and against any and all liability, including but not limited to, personal injury, death, damage or loss of property in any way arising from the Prize Drawing and the awarding, fulfillment, acceptance and use or misuse of the Prize. The Host and Prize Sponsor assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction of or unauthorized access to Prize Drawing entries or entry forms, or alteration of Entries which may occur in the administration of the Prize Drawing or the processing of Entries.

Governing Law

• This Prize Drawing and these Official Sweepstakes Rules are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina.
