Welcome AR15.com users to Project Appleseed!
At Project Appleseed, we focus on teaching solid fundamentals in rifle and pistol shooting. While we welcome beginners, practice at fundamentals is critical for shooters of all skill levels. Through proven and systematic techniques, our teachers and coaches make new shooters good and seasoned shooters better.
During all our classes, we share stories about America and the Founding generation who sacrificed to give us the Nation we love.
We offer a variety of budget-friendly classes across the nation. Our course descriptions and schedule map follow.

Traditional 25m Rifle: We focus on building solid positions, shooting techniques, and perfecting Natural Point of Aim for field shooting. Students will learn to diagnose their own targets and perform simple & fast zeroing techniques. There is a strong emphasis on effective dry fire in our 25m rifle classes. The skills that you learn at 25 can take you out to 500 yards. The fundamentals taught in this class will improve seasoned shooters. Beginners are also welcome.
Appleseed Pistol Clinics: Our newest offering and a fun challenge for everyone. Students will learn mechanics and fundamentals of speed and precision in their pistolcraft. We focus on rapid target acquisition and engaging multiple targets. Holsters not required for this class.
Ladyseed: A Ladyseed is an Appleseed (rifle or pistol) designed specifically for women. It offers the opportunity for women to shoot, share and get to know each other in a comfortable learning environment.
Centerfire Known Distance: Our KD classes build on the skills learned at the traditional 25m rifle class and take shooters out to at least 400 yards. Students will learn about target detection, range estimation, trajectory, battlesight zero, and environmental factors. Students will also learn how get the most of out their own sight systems (MOA or mils) and much more. Prior attendance at a Traditional 25m Rifle event is required to attend.
Rimfire Known Distance: Similar to a Centerfire KD class, students use 22LR rifles and shoot to ranges out to 200 yards (100 yds where 200 is not available.) RKD events are a great place to learn how to manage the challenges of wind.
