Along US 460 are several independent and franchise low-cost motels.

Expedia has hotels 20 miles away. If someone was going to use a hotel, I would recommend finding a place in Smithfield, VA.

Take US 460 towards Wakefield.  At the intersection US 460 and Main Street (Sunoco Gas Station), turn onto W. Main Street (away from Sunoco).
Continue until VA 628 and VA 620 split; keep left and continue on VA 628.
Continue down VA 628 until VA 729 (Turkey Pen Road); turn right onto VA 729.
Continue down VA 729 approx. 3/4 mile, Airfield Conference Center complex entrance will be on the left (Airfield Road).
Continue down Airfield approx. 1/4 mile; range entrance will be on the left, marked with sign.
Once on the range access road, continue past the open field and follow road towards the right,
past the parking lot barricade gate and into the parking lot.
