There are a couple campgrounds along Hwy 89 toward Prescott.

From Highway 89, 3 miles east on Perkinsville Rd. to Santa Fe Trail. Turn left. After 75 yards, turn right onto Shooting Range Road. Drive half a mile to the range.
At the rifle marksmanship events no Handguns are allowed on the firing line.
