Camping available: Primitive camping on site. A bunkhouse and/or trailer is available for a nominal charge. Both have AC, shower, toilet, etc. There are four RV sites with power and water. One RV site with full hookups.

There are several hotels on Williston Road and Archer Road exits off I-75 in Gainesville. Approximately 25-28 miles (35-45 min.) There is a Holiday Inn Express in Palatka, about 25 miles to the east at the junction of SR 100 and SR 19.

Food: A gas station at the junction of SR 20 and SR 21 (about 1 mile from range) has some snacks. There are several restaurants in Hawthorne about 5 miles away. (BBQ, diner, various fast food, Subway, etc.)

From Gainesville:

Go southeast on SE Hawthorne Road (State Road 20) towards Hawthorne. About 5 miles past Hawthorne turn left on SR 21, heading north. Look for gate and sign “Florida Sun Farms” on your left about one mile from the junction of SR 20 and SR 21. The gate is in the middle of a long fence and hedge. Follow the dirt road about 0.25 miles to the range. Parking is about 100 yards from the firing line.

From Palatka:

Go west on SR 20 through Interlachen to junction of SR 21. Turn right (north) on SR 21 and go about one mile to Florida Sun Farms sign and gate on your left.
