From Denver or Utah:  Follow I-70 to Grand Junction, Colorado. Take Exit 37 to I-70 Business Loop (SR-141). Turn left (southeast) onto 32 Road (SR-141). Keep on 32 Road for approximately 4.5 miles. When you see the rock and gravel vendor on the left, you will make the left turn after that business. This is Springfield Road and it is unmarked. Turn right at Browning road, which is unmarked. The range gate is on the left.

From Delta or Montrose, Colorado:  Go north on US Highway 50. Turn right (northeast) onto 32 Road (SR-141). Keep straight on 32 Road for about 1 mile. You will see a rock and gravel vendor ahead on the right where the road curves to the left. Turn right on Springfield Road before the gravel vendor (Springfield Road is unmarked). Turn right on Browning Road and the gate to the range is on the left. (Browning road is also unmarked.)

These are .22 rimfire shoots only.

Please leave your rifles in the car until asked to bring them to the firing line. Please, no handguns (concealed or open) on the firing line. Bring layered clothing, a windbreaker, and lightweight gloves, eye protection and hearing protection. Bring rain gear, jacket, a lunch, snacks, and plenty of water. A shooting mat, e.g., a 4’ x 7’ carpet scrap, will be desired for prone and sitting. If rain or snow is expected, bring a tarp to put your mat on.

Split event - April 19 & April 26.

Since April 20th is Easter weekend we will split a normal 2 day event into two parts. Part 1 will be held on April 19th and part 2 will be held on April 26. The prices have been adjusted in order to take this into account.

However, if passing thru Denver: Denver has an Assault Weapons Ban for rifles with mags over 20 rounds, also mags over 20 rounds are banned. Although there are provisions for a non-resident passing through, it is best to keep weapons cased and simply avoid stopping in Denver altogether. They will arrest you and make you hire a lawyer to get your rifle back. There is no state Assault Weapons Ban. Open carry is legal in Colorado except in some cities (don't press your luck in cities, they'll find something else to charge you with). Concealed carry requires a permit. No loaded long arms in vehicles – chamber must be empty (hunting law), handguns OK.
