Holiday Inn 15 minutes away, Hampton Inn 15 minutes away.
Fairfield Inn 20 minutes away.
Exit Interstate 64 at Exit 191 and take US 23 south to the first right, S. Big Run Road. Take S. Big Run Road approximately 1.6 miles to the range entrance. (there will be a sign and a gate at the entrance). Turn left into the range entrance and drive approximately .3 mile and then turn right at the fork. Drive approximately .1 mile and the range bay will be on the right.
Check-in starts at 8:00 AM. Course of Instruction begins at 8:30 AM each day.Instruction Saturday will end at approximately 5:30 PM and on Sunday at 4:00 PM.
Shoot your rimfire or centerfire rifle at 25 meters on Saturday. Those who qualify may shoot their centerfire rifle at 400 yards on Sunday afternoon. The ranges being used may not be sheltered. If it's sunny, you may be out in the sun. If raining, you may be out in the rain. Bring what's appropriate for you and bring cover for your rifle if rain is expected. Events are not canceled due to the weather (with the exception of extreme weather, i.e. - tornado, severe storms/lightning). There will be a designated time for lunch and history. There is no food or water available on site. Participants are encouraged to stay on site through lunch. Please bring what food you need or be prepared to have your order delivered to the range.
