From Gardenerville, take Hwy 395 South, approx 10 miles, turn RIGHT onto Leviathan Mine Road, follow to 2449 Leviathan mine rd., turn RIGHT, follow the signs on private drive, around compound to range.

This is a bare field range, so if you have popup canopies bring them.  Bring plenty of water, plenty of sunscreen, bring packed lunch as there is nowhere  nearby to get lunch. Ammo which attracts a magnet is NOT allowed at this range  (no steel cored, tipped or cased). Please check with range staff during fire season for other ammo and target restrictions. Fire season could start end of April.  No alcohol permitted

This promises to be an excellent shoot at Nevada's own DAR, located in the picturesque Serria Nevadas, 20 mins (as the crow flys) from Lake Tahoe. With ranges out to 600+, bring a center fire for some real application, of what you will learn. The firing line can handle 50, with room for more.
