KD Shoot GOALS: To transmit as much information as possible about KD so that the instructors present can take this material back to their Appleseed venues. ALSO to provide all participants with adequate opportunity to fire a qualification on the KD course.

RANGE NOTE:  The 500 and 1000 yard range have been reserved for this event so there will be no delays while the alternate range personnel go downrange. This will benefit the attendees in increased trigger time during this one day event. This KD can accommodate [16] Sixteen shooters.

RANGE SET UP:  The 500 and 1000 yard ranges have been reserved for NOVEMBER 17th, 2017 to insure AS will have access for set up. This will guarantee the 4+ hours of set up time needed to prepare for NOVEMBER 18th, 2017.  This will also result in additional range fees.

NON-REFUNDABLE RANGE FEE:  (IMPORTANT) To secure both ranges, the Host required a Range Fee of $200.00 PER DAY (Two hundred dollars) for a total of $400.00 for November 17-18th, 2017. This  has been paid in advance by Shoot Boss StevenK to secure the Ranges for this event. The cost per shooter will be $25.00 [twenty five dollars] assuming a full event.  THe range fee of $$25.00 is required for all shooters.  This fee must be sent within ten days of the date that you sign up or your name will be removed from the roster. THE $25.00 RANGE FEE IS NON REFUNDABLE.  Instructors who are not registered for the event as shooters or line help cannot be accommodated on the range for any reason.

MUSTS:  You will be part of a high speed low drag team, so get your gear ready in advance. 
YOU MUST come with a good zero; please do not come to this event to zero your rifle. A total of (18) Eighteen shots will be allowed for participants to authenticate their zero. Be ready.  YOU MUST come with all known or foreseeable equipment problems resolved.  Pick a rifle and stick with it as swapping caliber, barrels, charges, etc. will be counterproductive and can tend to slow down the group.

PERSONNEL:  The Instructor for this event will be SGTROCK. The Shoot Boss for the event is STEVENK.  AS  Personnel who volunteer to help should not expect to shoot on November 18th, 2017 because the day will move at an extremely fast pace.

CAMPING:  Camping is available at the range. 

MISCELLANEOUS:  If the event does not fill the shooters may be asked to contribute toward the difference in the range percentage on a pro rata basis.  This is unlikely, as this event should fill quickly and the range fee should be covered. We have had no problems in past events.

IMPORTANT: The Cost of the event is now $25.00 -  we have reserved the range the day before specifically for set up in light of delay at this event caused by third person errant range use. The cost to reserve for the extra day was $200.00.  Set up should take 4 or more hours.  There will be several hours of daylight that we will have remaining that the shooters may use to prepare for the event. This range time may be used only by persons signed up for the event as students or as instructors for November 18th, 2017. No other person will be able to use the range.  All REGISTERED shooters will cover the  $25.00 whether they show up for the set up day or not. Due to PA law, no children (under 18) may be present at this Volunteer event. Registration is not transferrable for any reason.

IMPORTANT:  Be ready -Prep for the first AQT will be called on or before 10:45, closed, and the "fire" command for Stage 1 will be given on or before 10:50 am.

LUNCH: 1/2 hour for lunch immediately following AQT
