Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots

Another good shoot at Black Creek Shooting Range (Mechanicsville, Va.) and a first for Virginia.  Shooter "Ian" shot all of the AQTs to a high Rifleman level, most of them "Distinguished", and on the last AQT of the day scored a 250!!!!!  Among the list were a pair of 248s and a 246.  Perseverance and persistence marked his efforts.   His targets were among the best I have ever scored and the first 250 that I have personally witnessed.  Huzzahs for an outstanding effort and result!
He was not the only successful shooter for our weekend, Steven managed 2 "Rifleman" scores and Lauren and Benjamin both added Rifleman patches to their wardrobe!  It was a fine spring weekend in Virginia!  I am not sure I can remember a standard Appleseed with a 66% Rifleman outcome.
All this was possible with a great instructor crew!  Congrats to Aurelian moving up to IIT3 and many thanks to BrotherPilot, JL, and BillP_556 for carrying the load on the shoot.  You guys made my job easy as SB.

Not only did Ian score a perfect 250 on SUNDAY during the AQT grind (when prep times are short), but also shot a perfect 245, with the miss coming from a slam fire on his .22 rifle.  That was the best marksmanship I've seen on a Sunday at Appleseed!
Respectfully,

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.
Benjamin Franklin, 1775

"A free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined; to which end a uniform and well-digested plan is requisite; and their safety and interest require that they should promote such manufactories as tend to render them independent of others for essential, particularly military, supplies."  George Washington 1790

"[T]o preserve liberty, it is essential that the whole body of the people always possess arms, and be taught alike, especially when young, how to use them…"
