We had a great event this week-end.  Although it was ridiculously HOT, we had shooters who hung in there and made TONS of progress. 
We had two families show up:  Max and Charlotte with their four children: Eric, Sophia, Alex and Austin; and Stephen and Christopher all of whom were persistent and scored increasingly higher scores throughout the weekend.  Jim showed up Saturday morning raring to go, but unfortunately had to leave early...he will be back for sure when the weather has cooled off a bit.

CONGRATULATIONS to Max, Stephen and Chris for earning their Rifleman patch!!!   :---

A huge thanks to all of the instructors who came out and braved the heat as well: Engineer Shooting, Lucky Lori; Wacky and Mrs. Wacky, Dragon, Stan the Man, and Gunjunkie.  What a great team!!!  They are all awesome instructors as reflected by the great success of our shooters.

Another huge thanks to Dragon and Gunjunkie for bring out their muskets and allowing the shooters to "take a shot", and Dragon for giving each shooter a souvenir musket ball -- that's always a big hit!  Thanks guys!!

Congratulations  Max   Stephen  &  Chris for your hard work & rifleman score !!  Hot as it was you came back Sunday & did it .  Great job !  Thanks to Kim & Chuck  for organizing  AND  making this event happen.  We were happy  to come & help.  Looking forward to November  & the next event  AND  cooler weather.     Lucky  Lori

So much for the cooler Sept weather.
With the exception of the heat this was a great weekend. Max his wife and five children, along with Steve and his son helped make it a great weekend. I wish more parents could see the value of the history we share and the skills we teach.
All in attendance made a great deal of progress while three excelled. Congratulations Max,Steve and Chris on earning your rifleman's patch.
Thanks to all the instructors Wacky, Mrs Wacky, Dragon, Stan the man and a big thanks to Engineer Shooting and Lucky Lori. A great job shoot bossing by Just Kim!
