Our first shoot at a new range -- the extraordinary Homestead Training Center in Homestead FL.  The huge complex is right at the edge of the Everglades, and flush up against Homestead Airforce Base. Our sparkling new South Florida Cadre lined up this range and our shoot there was the farthest south Appleseed has ever ventured. For years we've been trying to break into South Florida and we're finally there. This is the start of a beautiful friendship....

Our folks started with a Libertyseed for a homeschooling group on Friday.  Saturday morning 17 shooters showed up eager to embrace their heritage and begin walking the path to become a Rifleman.

This was a shoot intended for youths, and there were only a few adults present.

We minted two new Riflemen and had one requal. It was a great weekend.



This was my favorite photo from the weekend: Look at the expression of concentration on the face of 11-year-old Charity Hill as she rides the recoil of an instructor's AR-15.

An amazing weekend indeed!  :F

Very proud of the complete South Florida Cadre for all their hard work to make this inaugural event such a success!  The pictures tell it all!  HUZZAH!

What a great weekend. The weather was perfect and the students were fantastic. Here's to many more at our southern most venue. Excellent Collage Rambo Granny. Thanks for all of the extra work and assistance.
