We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

We were joined by 28 good folks at the Piru, CA Appleseed Range. We had perfect weather and folks that were willing to learn. Gary and Giselle took us up on our challenge from last year and brought 11 folks to the event with them! We ended up with 4 new Riflemen, a requal and a new Instructor in training. After a full day of Appleseeding on Saturday, Rob requalified with a 213, this being his second Appleseed. Sunday saw almost everybody return, and we procedeeded with a review before we got into the AQT grind. John was the first to post a Rfileman Score with a 210 and in doing so, became CA's 900th Rifleman. I told him he needed to improve that score and he did with a 214, 215 and a 221! We also had Lorenzo post a 215. After mechanical issues Saturday, Dave showed that Rfilemen Persist and put up a Rifleman score of 218. Not to be left out, Tom posted a 219. During the benediction at the end of Sunday, Rob stepped up to accept the Orange Hat of Destiny and just like that we have a new IIT! A big thank you goes out to our excellenet Instructors! Whangdoodle helped out Saturday and the rest of the weekend we were joined by TwoBeagles, Rocdale, and Jester. Thanks for the great work folks! Please post your comments and pics here. I will have pics to follow.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom,go home from us.We ask not your counsels or arms.Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you.May your chains set lightly upon you and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.
