It was a very chilly overcast day that warmed up by mid-afternoon for our 1-day Appleseed here @ AAFG in Annapolis, MD.

We had six students on the firing line today, including one returning Appleseeder who brought his adult son, and another awesome dad who bought his teenage daughter.  One pre-registered student had to cancel at the last minute.

As a southpaw, I was pleased to see a 1/3 of the shooting mats on the firing line angled the RIGHT way for a change!

Despite it being a one-day event, we managed to get in four AQTs, minting two new Rifleman from two first time attendees with scores of 211 and 229.  It must be the superb instruction offered by ERoyle, Vjornaxx, & BeSwift!

Everyone on the line did a fine job of internalizing the 6 Steps and Steady Hold Factors for all the positions, yielding some very tight groups (1.5-2MOA) during our squares targets strings of fire.

Across the board, all the shooters improved considerably, so that by our closing RedCoat most of our students improved their precision and effective range and 2/3 of attendees hit Capt. Morgan's Shingle.

Everyone got a little "green Army figure" as a SHF reminder and a free copy of latest edition of The Lexington-Concord Battle Road: An hour-by-hour account of events preceding and on the history-making day, April 19, 1775 (which used to be available in 2016 directly from Concord Chamber of Commerce but it looks like their on-line store is down).

As always, many thanks to:
- AAFG for continuing to provide us use of their Small Bore rifle range
- The cameo appearance from BeSwift; always a pleasure to see you, sir!
- ERoyle and Vjornaxx for instructing, running the line, and our usual post-Saturday Appleseed BBQ dinner, and of course
- Our six attendees who were all safe, courteous, and helped with clean up

Thanks again everyone and I hope to see you all again soon on the path to gunlightenment.
