All,

I am currently registered for classes this spring, and unfortunately, I have exams the week of the Tallahassee RBC on 29 Jan - 3 Feb 2017 that I am unable to reschedule....

That being said, I am hoping to donate my space to someone who might not be able to attend or is hesitant about attending that week.

Just let me know and I will forward the info to the people in charge.  If all else fails, my registration fee can become a beverage donation for the instructors teaching at the RBC.

Thanks!

Kyle A.

The American Constitution is remarkable for its simplicity; but can only suffice a people habitually correct in their actions, and would be utterly inadequate to the wants of a different nation.  Change the domestic habits of the Americans, their religious devotion, and their high respect for morality, and it will not be necessary to change a single letter in the Constitution in order to vary the whole form of their government. - Francis Grund 1837

Well, I am not sure who ends up with the dollars, truth be told.  But if it is possible, that is what I want my funding to go to!

KyleMason,
Very sorry you couldn't make it... to all others who did not come and are not yet Riflemen: you are missing out! Today on our fourth day I earned the honor of being allowed to wear the Rifleman patch, after lots of patient troubleshooting by all Instructors...! The patient mentoring by all Instructors to us newbies is beyond anything I've ever experienced, kudos to all Instructors! There are so many individual thank you'd to give out, forgive me if I won't write it out here, there is just too much to list!By now, all but one of the group have earned the title and I am confident that our last newbie will also earn the patch, now that all others are over the hump. But, make no mistake, the Instructor to participant ratio is pretty close to 1:1, which is an incredible ratio! Ever been to a training course where there was nearly one instructor to every student? Unheard of I'd say!
To all others who are still toying with the idea of going to an Appleseed, better plan on going to multiple within a year so that you really get into a rhythm. I am absolutely sure you won't regret it.
And if you can make it to a Bootcamp, GO! Realizing that it does eat one vacation week, but see it as a "Mancation"! It sure beats cliff diving or other crazy sports.
Looking forward to training with all at our current Bootcamp during day 5&6 and at future Appleseeds!

You are too kind Menace! The solution I have is reflected in "Failure is NOT an option" and in:

"Nothing in the world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'press on' has solved and will always solve the problems of the human race."
