A BIG thank you to Sharpshooters USA for always being such gracious hosts and one big HUZZAH to the 10 Patriots who showed up to make this a great event!

After check-in, we begain with a brief intro and our usual safety briefing. Then we watched a quick video from Sharpshooters before we hit the range. We put the first shots down range about 10AM

Once we hit the range, we hit the ground running and the firehose of instruction was turned on!  ~~:)
We began with Sling use and the steady hold factors of the Prone position. Followed by an eye dominance test and then 6 steps. Next up was NPOA, Rifleman's cadence and the usefulness of dry-firing. Soon after we moved right along to Talking Targets and Inches, Minutes and Clicks.

DrJohn below instructing on the 5 shot patterns for diagnosing their issues.

By lunch time everyone was ready for a well-deserved break and all were treated to some well told history. Akela kicked things off with First Strike (1st picture below) and Canbritt followed it up with Strike 2 (2nd picture below). Then it was back to the range!  :---

Moving along quickly we went into the Seated positions (kneeling included) and then on to standing. Our shooters shot their first standing target on an AQT at 2:30!

After that it was time for an afternoon break and the Third Strike presented by DrJohn. Then somehow through magic we were able to stop time long enough to squeeze in 2 more AQTs before clean up. After clean up we retired to the classroom and yours truly told the story of Timothy Murphy and how one man can make a difference.

Thank you to all that came out. Though we had no Riflemen, I know that each of you can obtain that coveted patch. Remember; a Rifleman persists! Dry-fire, dry-fire and when you are done... dry-fire!

I hope to see all of you again soon and hopefully with a friend.  ;)

Many thanks to Roswell, CanBrit, Akela, SharpShootersUSA, an especially our gallant students, who made this such a productive and enjoyable event. We look forward to seeing all of you again, and hope you went away from the event with a deeper appreciation of Liberty, the precious gift bestowed on us by the very fact of our humanity. Remember the key importance of dry firing, and bring some friends with you to the next Appleseed event. Huzza, all!
"It is an indispensable duty, my brethren, which we owe to God and our country, to rouse up and bestir ourselves, and, being animated with a noble zeal for the sacred cause of liberty, to defend our lives and fortunes, even to the shedding of the last drop of blood....
