A total of 15 shooters came out to learn more about Marksmanship and American History on a beautiful fall weekend in Annapolis, MD.

We had several relatively new shooters on the firing line but let me tell ya, they can flat out shoot.  Several of the new shooters had some remarkable groups.  Saturday, we started slowly to insure shooters were grasping the fundamentals and obtaining sufficient groups to make sight adjustments.  Many shooters were firing from the prone and seated position for the first time. The group was safe and everyone was very attentive to the course of instruction.   We progressed throughout the day adding time (Transition Practice Stage 2 and 3) and with this group it really didn't faze them.  Although we did not complete an AQT on Saturday (sun set earlier and relays) we saw huge improvement.  Jon, finished the day clearing the Red Coat and several others were close.  HUZZAH!

Sunday, we started the day with a Red Coat and Dorothy cleaned it.  HUZZAH!  After some review we started the AQT grind with Grace (212) and Amy (211) achieving Rifleman on their first time out HUZZAH!  HUZZAH! HUZZAH!  We had several other students knocking at the door before time ran out.

WHYWON delivered the 3 strikes and students were attentive to the stories throughout the weekend.  Several of the students participated in delivering Dangerous Old Man/Women.  Excellent group with teachable attitudes and I'm positive that we will see many of these students again!

Maryland Instructor Team, you guys did an outstanding job all weekend working with the students!  Thank you Patent Guy, WHYWON and CSM00 for your continued support and instruction.  Everyone had an enjoyable experience and most importantly a safe weekend.  Thank you AAFG we really appreciate your continued support of Project Appleseed.

To all the students we hope to see you at another Appleseed event soon and bring a friend, co-worker or family member.  Remember to "Like" us on Facebook - Project Appleseed Maryland.
