Another perfect weekend for an Appleseed and what better way to celebrate than with a full line of 23 eager Americans looking for a taste of Revolutionary War history and Marksmanship training! The crowd didn't disappoint! We were happy to welcome a local Boy Scout Troop as well as a several families for our last Appleseed at Sanners Lake for the year. All of the students showed great improvement over the weekend with several young shooters clearing the Redcoat target! Huzzah! Congratulations goes out to John Borland who qualified Rifleman with a 215 followed by a 225. This was John's first Appleseed. Not to be outdone, John's Dad, a qualified Rifleman himself, re-qualified with a 212. Outstanding effort by both men. Mom also did very well, clearing the Redcoat and coming very close to a qualifying Rifleman score. Looking forward to seeing the family on the line again soon.
