A big THANK YOU to Slippery Rock Sportsmans Club for hosting another wonderful Appleseed weekend.

Ten great Americans came out to learn more about our Heritage and marksmanship.

Thank you to bcurfman, Tx T, RayBiker73 and FullmetalRifleman for providing excellent instruction.  Congratulations to new Riflemen Olivia,  Dylan, Mark and Lance!  HUZZAH to Lance, Joe, Mark and Ron for clearing the Red Coat target!
Last evening, it occurred to me that when a defender of Liberty is called home, their load lands upon the shoulders of the defenders left behind. Just as the Founders did their duty for Liberty, every subsequent generation must continue their work lest Liberty perish. As there is no way for the remaining adults to take on the work of those that die, we must pass the ideals and duties on to the children. -PHenery

I would like to thank Chuck for being such a great shoot boss (again) and all of the other instructors involved in this event for giving their time (and equipment) and sharing their knowledge.  My two daughters and I had a great time, we learned a lot and we simply enjoyed being in the presence of so many other like minded folks in such a supportive and encouraging environment.  We have attended a few other events, and we learn something new and improve our skills and increase our knowledge every time.  By the way, I thought that Texas T did an especially good job with the Three Strikes and the dangerous old men stories.  Huzzah!
