Firsts THANK YOU to LIPSA for hosting our Event. Project Appleseed wouldn't exist on Long Island without LIPSA. They gave us a home and always welcome us with open arms.

Saturday was HOT!
25 Shooters were on the line and hung in there until the very end. It was brutal but we made it.

Sunday was better but still got warm in the afternoon. Nothing was going to stop these shooters from chasing that Patch and becoming RIFLEMAN.

By the end of the weekend we had 9 Shooters make the score. Some did it several times.

3 Repeat Rifleman.
6 New Rifleman.

Congrats to all!

Actually congrats to all who attended because we saw improvement from EVERYONE and they all showed up with a very teachable attitude and I'm certain learned something to help them shoot and hopefully attend our next event and earn their Patch. They also were eager to hear about their Heritage and listen to the History portion of our Appleseed Event.


Thanks to the Instructor crew who without their dedication to the Mission we couldn't have done this.

Also THANKS to our two new IIT's who stepped up and took the Orange Hat to become Instructors.

METALHEAD (Paul) & iceburg (Rob) now have joined the Appleseed IIT crew.

Our "Fun Shoot" was won by METALHEAD (no surprise) he knocked out that TV to get the couch potatoes OFF the couch.

We can't forget our Youth Shooters who will carry the torch for us so special mention and thanks to Colby, Chris, Cole & Stephen.
You guys did GREAT!
