Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots

Special Thanks toThe Members of The New Bremen Fish and Game Club, for the use of their Range and Club House.

We had Thirteen students join us on the line Saturday. Some traveled more than 4hours to attend this event, from Conneticiut and Vermont,  Some New Yorkers traveled even longer. It was Great to see the line filled at this near sold out event, in Upstate New York.

Students and Instructors worked hard in the near 90 degree heat, but not a complaint was heard. Many of our students were previous Appleseeders, and even some previous Rifleman.
We had some New and Requalifing Rifleman

Erwin  :--- 212 New  O0

Adam  :--- 224,210 Requal  O0

Dave   :--- 214,211 Requal  O0

Dan     :--- 230,227 Requal  O0

Sunday, after The Known Distance Classroom work, Dude took some students over to the 400 yard range to apply what they had learned

Students were able to get 100-400 yard zeros/dope, and then fire a full distance AQT.  :---

The students that didnt go to KD stayed and worked on 25m AQTs, and even a Cheeze it Drill.

All students showed improvement throughout the weekend, some equipment issues plagued students, but they took it in stride.

Rachel, New Yorks newest Young Patriot, showed what she was made of, not only camping all weekend , but she completed each and every course of fire,  throughout the weekend  . Recently turning 12 , this was Rachels first Appleseed in New York, in which  she was able to use a .22 rifle.

Jeanie , Rachels, Mom was the winner of the Cheez-it drill, she really liked the instant feedback using iron sights, and seeing the crackers disappear. Jeanie took home a Appleseed can cozy.

Many of our students were knocking on the door, with Great Groups, hang in there, keep practicing and dry fire and you will get there.

I want to Thank My Instructors, who really make these events run smoothly.  Viet Vet, Dude, drifter52, cujocop, and Keith1 O0

Speaking of drifter52,  he is New Yorks newest Red Hat!!

Thanks to all involved in the Appleseed Event.

Instructors and Shooters made this a very successful and enjoyable weekend. New Bremen, NY being located WAY upstate usually doesn't draw such a great turn out but this Event was the largest ever held there if my memory is correct.

It was hot but everyone just kept on going and improvement by all was very obvious.

Congrats to everyone especially our Rifleman and our Youth Shooter.
                                    OUR
FOREFATHERS WOULD BE SHOOTING BY NOW!

Dude

This was definitely the largest group at New Bremen. Everyone pulled together and made the weekend function quite smoothly.

A special note, two of our riflemen, Adam and Erwin, who are active duty. O0

Thanks to all involved.

New Bremen needs to have a KD shoot!! :~
just sayin

and congrats to our newest Red Hat drifter52  ^:)^

Dude. you are red hat, make it happen, you can do it, you don"t need anyone else.

Sounds like a great event. Congrats to all who qualified, or requalified, and to Rachel for sticking it out. It would have been easy to throw in the towel and blame it on the heat, but to have stuck it out shows class and character.   O0 O0
