We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

Saturday morning began with  20 shooters, ranging in age from 5 years old to 68 years old.  We are never too young, or old, to learn new things!!  Many of our shooters were groups of families, which is always great to see.  All of our shooters were attentive to all history presentations, and had great attitudes while shooting.  All of our shooters were also very safe the entire weekend.

Most of the shooters were attending their first Appleseed event, so there was much new information to discuss.  All shooters made excellent progress as the weekend progressed.  One of our shooters, though, who is already a blue hat with Appleseed really wanted that rifleman score.  We watched as 1 AQT after another he slowly increased his score.  Finally, on the final AQT of the weekend he scored a 215!!  This young man showed how a rifleman persists.  He attended his first Appleseed at the age of 10 and is now 15 years old.  Then, it got even better, because he accepted an orange hat!!

I want to thank the Knob Creek Gun range for allowing us to hold our event, and thanks to all of the shooters who attended!  I hope to see all of you at future events.

As always, it was great working with each of the instructors!!
