We need volunteers in sales, marketing, PR, IT, and general "running of an organization."
Maximize your Appleseed energy to make this program grow, and help fill the empty spots
on the firing line!  An hour of time spent at this level can have the impact of ten or a
hundred hours on the firing line.  Want to help? Send a PM to Monkey!

What a nice weekend for an Appleseed- couldn't ask for a better couple of summer days in the Wildcat Hills of Nebraska!  We started the seed with nine shooters and were honored to have a young lady from Italy visiting America to learn to shoot with us, and experience some of the freedom that we still enjoy today, thanks to our forefathers.  Would love to hear what stories she relays to the folks back home!!  I hope some of the pictures of her and her friend, standing in front of the flag display with their rifles at the ready, make it on to the forum and that she has a copy to take home to her native country.  We had two new Rifleladies, two new Riflemen, and one requal by the end of the weekend-a real impressive bunch of shooters.  Congratulations to Jennifer and Jessica, Jason and MJ, and Mike, for their accomplishments, and thank you to those who are accepting orange hats.  Nebraska is working hard to get a corps of instructors so that the program can grow and succeed.  Thank you to all of the members of Rifle Site for hosting again, and a special thank you to Jennifer for providing a very tasty lunch on both days.  Thank you also to fellow instructors Eric, who traveled 400 plus miles to help; Katy, and Joe.
When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them,  and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that is the beginning of the end of any nation.

The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity.
