Saturday in Laramie: weather was in the 80's with some breeze.
Most of the shooters were first-time Appleseeders and did very well.  They listened!
Michelle managed to shoot 223 on her third AQT of the day and then "retired" to coach sister Terry.  On the same round, Dave shoot 210 and proved it was no fluke by shooting 228 Sunday morning.  Rex requaled with ONLY a 247, using his AR.  He gave a masterful demo of transition from standing to sitting (10 rounds in 38 seconds), then standing to prone (10 rounds in 37 seconds).  See the results below.  He spent most of his time coaching and on Sunday afternoon took the new Riflemen through the ranges Rimfire Ramble, their version of 22 KD.  Both Michelle and Terry pronounced it very worthwhile.
Howard was shooting well on Saturday, but couldn't come back on Sunday.  Too bad as he was progressing well.
Twins Broc and Brian and friend Ryan handicapped themselves with red dot sights, trying to duplicate raggedyedge's feat at RBC.  (The first time that I have seen a qualification score shot with a red dot).  They may not have matched the old man, but they were doing well.  Use those slings, gentlemen!
Altogether, a good safe shoot with folks with great attitudes.
Thank you all, and thanks to Mr Aufbau & raggedyedge for their help on the line as well as coaching the shooters.  Good job, gents.  Thanks to Rex for liasing with the range, for his coaching and great demonstrations.  Thanks to Tom and the Laramie Rifle Range for again hosting us.  Join up folks, they can use more members.

Mr. Aufbau

Weather was excellent! Congratulations to the new riflemen and improved shooters. Many thanks to the SB, Rex, raggedyedge, and the facility for having us. I will post more photos soon.
