We had a great time in Stockton this weekend. Weather was warm all weekend with a little wind on Sunday. It was especially great to see three generations of one family all shooting together. Grandma helped prep magazines, kept everyone fed, and provided mountains of encouragement to everyone. Grandpa reminded me of Samuel Whittemore with his grit and determination. Despite having a crippled leg and requiring a walker, he was getting down into prone and seated position and giving his all. While we didn't produce any riflemen, several beginning shooters showed remarkable improvement. I'd also like to thank Tom, the landowner who shared his place with us. He made some nice improvements to the range area and was a great help in setting things up.

This picture was taken at the end of the day on Saturday.

"The cost of a thing is the amount of life required to be exchanged for it, immediately or in the long run. When one has obtained those essentials necessary for well-being â€" food, shelter, warmth, and clothing, there is an alternative to struggling through steel jungles for the luxuries. That's to adventure on life itself, one's vacation from humble toil having commenced." -Townsend Whelen

Quite an accomplishment to have three generations at the same shoot. Hat's off to the team.   O0
