It will be a couple of days before I get organized enough to post pictures and comments from this weekend. If anybody else has something to post, go ahead and get started!

I hope you had a successful weekend!

I missed this event at my home Club so that I could fly halfway across the Country to attend the Appleseed event in Sacramento, CA with my brother in law and nephew, neither of which had shot a rifle before.  It was well worth the effort!

We had a great time, everyone learned a lot and we have two new shooters in our ranks from  our family and many others who attended.

I was amazed at the knowledge and dedication of the instructors and thier selfless contribution of time to put these events on.  Many thanks to you all!

Looking at the numbers in the IAAR, I would have to say this was very successful. Glad things are still running smooth out there in MO. Thanks Ken, and for your support staff as well.

Wow! What a weekend at Bench Rest Rifle Club! The weather was great, we had 23 shooters on the line and by the end of the weekend, ten - yes, TEN Rifleman patches were awarded!  ^:)^

After the first redcoat target on Saturday morning, I knew we had a group of shooters who knew what they were about. By the end of the first day, and with only 2 AQT's, we awarded 4 patches.

Nick       211
Troy      212 Re-qualify
Ashley   217 Re-qualify
Rusty     216 Re-qualify

It must be noted that the scores I am posting are only the first qualifying AQT for each shooter. They each shot multiple Rifleman scores throughout the weekend.

Sunday started off with 4 shooters clearing the redcoat target!  O0
We had 6 more shooters earn their patch by the end of the day.

Jeff       223
Bryan    223
Sara      218
Chris     220
Matt     219 Re-qualify
Paula    214

What a great group of shooters. Not just the ones who earned their patch though, everyone was safe, had a positive attitude, and showed persistence and determination. It was my pleasure to spend my weekend with all of you.

As usual, I will try to tell the story of our weekend with pictures. As usual, it will be a day or so before I get the pictures posted...Stay tuned!

This picture does not even come close to showing the excitement and enthusiasm that Ashley displayed all weekend. She scored a 217 on Saturday, that was just the beginning!

Looks like the great weather matched the great attitudes and levels of enjoyment that were had by all. We were a little wetter out in mid-Ohio, but had a great time as well.

I enjoy the pictures, as they show the great venue that you had.
