This was the first shoot in this part of the state in several years.  We were hosted by the Lincoln Izaak Walton League (LincolnIkes.com).  Colycat made the trek all the way from Wisconsin to help us out.

We had a great group of shooters with 10 participants on Saturday and 7 on Sunday.  Two of the shooters were 10 years old and persevered.  Everyone was enthusiastic and took the massive amount of information in well.  We had 5 tube fed rifles and three center fire rifles on the line.  Some shooters brought back up rifles and others made what they had work.  Several learned a lot about their particular rifles.  We made one rifleman with a score of 211 followed up by a 221 with two others knocking on the door with a 205 and a 206.  Everyone made great improvements and they all displayed the most important quality of a Rifleman, Perseverance.  Pitspitr joined us for Sunday.  Colycat and Mike Nollett gave some moving Strikes and DOM.  Mike advanced to Red Hat.

Most of us started the weekend as strangers but we finished the weekend as friends and fellow Patriots.
