The weather was cool but drizzly; pleasant under cover, but slowly turning targets to goop.  Nevertheless, three motivated shooters turned up to learn a bit about history and try their hand at the AQT.  Since we couldn't shoot until 1000, we maximized the downtime by discussing the first two Strikes, to which the shooters were attentive, with many questions and few chuckles at the though of Revere being rowed across the Charles river with the oarlocks muffled by a patriot lady's undergarments, and the hapless British pickets fleeing at the sound of Parker's men discharging their  muskets preemptory to having a pint.  Once business commenced, Mike showed his stuff by cleaning the first redcoat of the day.  The pace moved quickly, with the third strike over lunch and then on to AQTs in the early afternoon.  Three AQTs came and went, with a break to talk about the Ring of Fire, how the Patriots won the Soft War, and the daring of Prudence Wright.  After it was all over, Mike came within three points (207!) of scoring Rifleman, Hiram scored in the 160-180 range despite never having done any serious rifle shooting before, and Rick was doing all the right things but struggled with reliability issues on his rifle.   Any of them should pick up rifleman on their next visit, with a little bit of dry fire practice in between.  All in all, a wet but great day of shooting and history.  Once again, many thanks to Berwyn in general for being great hosts (and Larry in particular for being such a great club liaison), and Manny and Chuck for their excellent and safe instruction.      Huzzah! Huzzah! Huzzah!
