It was a pleasure to spend the weekend with all of you. Let's make it a little warmer and drier next time. You all hung in there through the cold wet conditions and persevered to the end of each day. That's what makes riflemen. Keep at it, and hope to see you back in October.

What a wild time at Nappanee.  Saturday was cold with a cold rain.  Sunday was slightly warmer and overcast.  In spite of it all we had 14 dedicated Americans come to celebrate their heritage and learn some of our history.  We had a great time!

Congratulations to Boyd and Christina on scoring rifleman's scores!  Well done to the both of you.  You worked hard for those patches, for sure.  We had several others that are knocking on the door and I have every confidence that next time will get you over the hump and past 210.  With scores in the 190s and 200s you are right on the verge.  Keep it up.

Special kudos to one of our young shooters, Ian, who in spite of having hot brass going down his back twice never lost control of his muzzle and exercised excellent safety awareness in such a suddenly unpleasant happening.

Congratulations also to Jeff, Katie, and Christina for stepping up and taking Orange hats.  Welcome aboard!

A big thank you to Nappanee Conservation Club for hosing our event.  As always they were welcoming and helpful.  The hot chile for lunch on Saturday was very much welcome.  Thank you!

Thank you also to all my instructors who came to the event and gave of your time and talents to make this event the great success it was.
