Whew, the car is unpacked and gear is put away. I accidentally sat down on the bed and woke up a few hours later...

Guys, this was a really good one! It's great seeing full lines at Lapeer once again! Even better having lines full of (mostly) new shooters all possessing such great attitudes! Groups shrank through the day Saturday as the fundamentals of marksmanship were taught while hearts were inspired by an entertaining and moving telling of the Three Strikes! We may have only seen one new Rifleman, but that doesn't tell great  learning I saw on the part of everyone else. There are many new Riflemen and women in this group! I hope to see everyone back at future events!

PS: ok, I was kinda kidding when I said that this thread was for posting lost and found, but someone did leave a small white cooler with a blue lid at the range. It's safe, we can arrange pickup at your next Appleseed event  ;)  ;D

Just some pictures my kids and I took this weekend, not in a specific order other than to share the badge pictures first.

Thank you to all the instructors and helpers that made this a successful father son weekend.

I really enjoyed seeing all of the home schoolers out there!  You guys did great.  I have some videos of the musket shooting and quite a few photos to share but it will take a few days so please be patient and check back often.

What a great weekend with some truly wonderful Americans.  We made some friends, we celebrated our past and enjoyed some freedom.  :---

Congrats to all of you for surviving an Appleseed.  That is an accomplishment.  Also, congratulations to Frankie and Ace for the dueling tree championship.

Now some pictures.
