Note by Fred: If you like Texas hospitality, this is the Appleseed for you! On a private rural farm, on an improvised "Appleseed" range - to show you how easy it is to set one up - there's plenty of camping available, and during hunting season, sometimes you'll come back with more than you left home with.

Scout knows how to lay a shindig on. And this site may be destined to be The Official Texas Appleseed site, as the program spreads to other parts of the the state (sorry, much as I like this site, there's no way you can crowd 23 million Texans on it, so we are working on adding other Texas sites to handle the crowds. )

This Appleseed will feature long-range out to 400 yards - maybe to 500, and qualified participants will be able to fire the full-distance AQT at 100, 200, 300, and 400 yds. So bring your .22 rimfire for Saturday (and also Sunday morning), which is 25 m marksmanship training, and the centerfire for Sunday afternoon, if you are one of the lucky "full-distance" shooters.[attachment=2]

You can download, print and distribute the flyers below, where ever you travel.  The more people on the line, the more shoots we can have!
