Well, shoots in December can be a bit unpredictable weather wise..... Saturday turned out to be a very nice if chilly day.  Mostly sunny.

Brian and April joined us from San Jose to learn to shoot.  Brain heard about us on CalGuns and decided this was what he would like to do for their anniversary.  April, a fairly new rifle shooter, rocked her AR15 all day...  Brian did the same with his M1 until the op-rod decided it didn't want to stay where it belonged.  Of course it decided to do this in the middle of an AQT......

These two put everything we taught to work and did a great job.

We had a nice lunch telling the strikes in the sunshine.

We only got one AQT in due to Brian's rifle acting up.  We did switch him to a .22, but it was the end of the day.

Sunday, they decided to opt out of the weather, and I really don't blame them....it was raining sideways....the range showed sustained winds of 25mph, with gusts that would have made it a very miserable day.

I hope to see Brian and April out at another event next year.

Thanks to eaglescouter (Joe), Ducky (Linda) and Walter for their awesome work!
