What a gorgeous weekend in North Carolina to have an Appleseed at the home range!  The weather was unexpectedly wonderful.
We had four students.  Congratulations to the two new Riflemen, Eric and Randy!  This is Eric's first Appleseed but he's committed to coming back for the next event at Ramseur Jan. 16-17, 2016.  Randy had a time crunch this weekend and so brought his learning attitude and focus and got his Rifleman on the last AQT on Saturday!
Mark drove up from Atlanta because a friend convinced him this was The Way to learn basic rifle marksmanship.  Mark kept edging up to the Rifleman's score and will get it next time. Ron provided great snickerdoodle cookies and beef jerky for all.  His positive attitude and willingness to try new things is a lesson to us all.
The time on the Known Distance range brought home the lesson's of center fire's near and far zero and exactly how come-ups look on paper.
Thanks to all who participated in this weekend's Appleseed and to everyone who learns our heritage and does something about 'taking care of the children' as Isaac Davis did, understanding his actions took care of his children and us, his posterity.
