With the looming prospect of a combination of rain plus sustained winds of 25 mph and gusts at 35 mph our dedicated participants decided it would be smarter to rejoin us at a future event rather than fight the expected very poor weather conditions on sunday.

The brand new M1A that suddenly began misbehaving as the oprod and bolt would part company if the bolt was closed with a magazine in the rifle was an additional frustration point.

We look forward to seeing them at a future event as their positive attitudes made them a joy to be around.
Old Guy:  Do it long enough and you get really good at it.

Rifleman:  Sacramento:  Four Ought Nine
Full Distance:  Red Bluff:  What year was that?
Pistoleerâ„¢:  Hat Creek:  Three Twenty One

Make yourselves good scouts and good rifle shots in order to protect the women and children of your country if it should ever become necessary.
